New season kicks off

Whyalla baseball and softball kicked off last weekend on Saturday with the Juniors starting the  2016 – 2017 season.Both sides, the Indians and the Road Runners have new players mixing in and playing alongside the regulars. Both teams threw themselves into the first game with the Road Runners starting off the batting and scoring five and Ewan Preiss making two safe hits. The Indians, with only four players from last year, have seen a new side come together in their first game of the year.One of the new members for the Indians, Cooper Kenyon, was hit by the […]
